Founded in 1685, this picturesque farm in the Franschhoek Valley is one of the oldest in South Africa. We love Boschendal for its historical Manor House, delicious bakery, butchery and deli.

Literally ‘the morning sun’, this wine estate got its name from being the first portion of the Stellenboschkloof valley to see the sun. We highly recommend this winery for those who are into Baroque music and appreciate biodiversity.

Dating back to 1692, this vineyard is a historic Cape Dutch farm that boasts one of the best-preserved farmyards in the Cape. We recommend it for its heirloom fruit and vegetable gardens, organic lunch at Babel, great retail selection.

The Mullineuxs run a small award-winning winery based in Riebeek is run by a very passionate couple, Chris & Andrea. After working at several wineries in France, South Africa and California, they decided to settle in the Swartland Region and set up one of the most special tasting brands.
