WINTER

MAY TO NOVEMBER

Winter in Mozambique brings cooler, dry weather, making it the best time to visit. Days are warm but comfortable, with clear skies and little chance of rain – perfect for beachside relaxation and underwater exploration. For divers, the best visibility is from April to June and September to November.

SUMMER

NOVEMBER TO MARCH

If you’re looking for fewer crowds and lush green scenery, the summer months can still be rewarding, despite the occasional rain. Summer is the rainy season, bringing hot and humid conditions with occasional tropical storms. Cyclone season peaks in January and February, particularly affecting coastal regions. However, this is a fantastic time for birdwatching and experiencing Mozambique’s lush landscapes.
