DISCOVER UGANDA

Wild & Untamed Spirit

Uganda is where safari, misty rainforests, volcanic mountains, and deep lakes create a breathtaking landscape. It is home to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which shelters nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

Beyond gorillas, Uganda boasts the highest concentration of primates on the planet. Kibale Forest National Park is the best place to track wild chimpanzees, while Queen Elizabeth National Park offers a classic safari experience with tree-climbing lions and abundant big game.

Further north, the Nile River crashes through Murchison Falls, creating one of Africa’s most powerful waterfalls.

DRY SEASONS

MID-DECEMBER TO FEBRUARY & JUNE TO SEPTEMBER

Gorillas can be seen year-round, but for the best trekking conditions, visit in the dry seasons and for general travel, as trails are drier and more accessible. However, rain is still possible in rainforest areas.

RAINY SEASONS

MARCH TO MAY & OCTOBER TO NOVEMBER

The best time for birdwatching is when migratory species arrive. The rain can make gorilla trekking tougher, but the landscapes are lush and beautiful.
