What’s been your favourite safari experience?

Fly camping under the stars in the Selous, southern Tanzania.

Pick one place in Africa that’s forever in your heart?

Sausage Tree Camp in the Lower Zambezi. The camp offers all the game, all the luxury without the crowds. I often find myself daydreaming about enjoying a mojito on the deck overlooking the Zambezi river.

Top tip for clients?

When on safari in remote areas, pack a couple of rehydration sachets to mix in with your water. With the heat and humidity in a lot of the areas, they become very handy.
