Surprising Facts and USPs

Kisawa Sanctuary is the world’s first 3-D printed resort. It incorporates 3D-printed elements made from a locally derived, sand-based mortar. The resulting textured finish of facades allows the property to blend into its surrounding dunes, beaches and forest.
The property’s owners have ensured a light footprint on the natural landscape where possible, and their vision has been to blend rather than interrupt.
The Bazaruto Centre for Scientific Studies (BCSS), located nearby, hosts the first permanent ocean observatory focused on multi-ecosystem time-series research in Africa.
