Thornybush Game Reserve

Named one of the best Big Five reserves in South Africa, Thornybush is next to the Kruger Park and shares a fenceless border with Timbavati Game Reserve. Surrounded by prime game habitat it’s no wonder that this is a prime safari location. You can go on early morning and late afternoon game drives with an experienced guide, or even enjoy a spot-lit game drive at night to search for Thornybush’ big cats and nocturnal animals. As the reserve is private, there are activities that guests can enjoy that are not permitted in the Kruger National Park. With eleven sophisticated lodges to choose from, Thornybush is the perfect malaria-free safari destination.
