Tsavo West National Park

Situated in Kenya’s south-west, Tsavo is a massive protected area that’s made up of Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Park. Both make up the biggest park in Kenya and is one of the world’s largest game sanctuaries with 22000 km² of untouched wilderness. Tsavo is surrounded by views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the magnificent Chyulu Hills. The park is punctuated by green grasslands, volcanic cones, sharp outcrops, and large herds of elephants. While you’ll have to more patient to spot wildlife than the Masai Mara, the dramatic scenery, and sophisticated lodges make this one of Kenya’s best parks.
