Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park lies in north-east Botswana, bordered by the mighty Chobe River. A superb safari destination, Chobe is best known for its elephants. The park has a shifting migratory population of more than 50 000 elephants! And, during Botswan’s dry season, vast herds of elephants gather at the Chobe River to drink.

In the western region of the park likes the Savuti Channel. Savuti is famous for its predators, and in particular lion. Another distinct area of the park is the Linyanti Swamps, with its papyrus-lined lagoons. Linyanti is home to large numbers of elephant, buffalo, zebra and other big game.
