Oceana Beach & Wildlife Reserve

Combine an upmarket beach and safari experience when staying at Oceana Beach & Wildlife Reserve in the malaria-free Eastern Cape province. Set overlooking seven kilometres of pristine beach, this boutique hotel is described as a place where “heaven, earth and ocean meet”.

The three lodge suites are part of the main lodge while the four ocean suites are separate with private decks. The private house, with its own plunge pool, is perfect for families and large groups. Dine on exquisitely crafted meals in the sophisticated dining room or on the beach. There is an on-site gym to work off any over indulgences.

Oceana Beach & Wildlife Reserve is home to more than 30 animal species and 220 bird species. There are Big 5 reserves within an hours’ drive of the lodge. There is plenty to do with a spa, swimming pool, curio shop and games room on site. The lodge is happy to arrange birdwatching tours, boat cruises, horse riding, diving, whale watching and fishing excursions, and golf.
