Nyamatusi Camp

Located in the Nyamatusi Wilderness Concession close to Mana Pools, Nyamatusi Camp is surrounded by pristine wilderness just begging to be explored. The camp is best known for its walking tours that honour the integrity of the surroundings – 80% of the park is only accessible by foot. Passionate and experienced guides accompany guests on a discovery of the varied animals and plant life of the area recounting the rich history of Mana Pools on nature walks. This region is home to the rare wild dog, elephants, lion, the endangered roan antelope, among other mammals, and a myriad of bird species.

Nyamatusi Camp is known as a birding destination, as well as a fishing one – on a catch and release basis. Guests can also take to the water in a canoe for a peaceful drifting down the Zambezi River to gain a different perspective on this untouched landscape.
