Mahali Mzuri

Mahali Mzuri has that playful, innovative style that you’d expect from a Sir Richard Branson property. Not one for the safari traditionalists, this unique camp has 12 modern tents with all the luxuries of a city hotel – fine cuisine, free-flowing champagne, hi-speed internet – combined with the thrills of big game viewing in a remote Masai Mara Conservancy.

The tents at Mahali Mzuri have a distinctive design, their arched canopies and pointed roofs standing out along the ridge of a wide valley. This location really lends itself to armchair game viewing and it’s not unusual for breakfasts out on the deck to be interrupted by the sight of a herd of elephants wandering by or pride of lion hunting on the rolling plains below.

When not out on your twice-daily game drives, settle in on one of the sun loungers alongside the 12-meter infinity pool or opt for a treatment at the Nasaro Spa. In the evenings join the other guests for dinner served around one long table, the multiple-course menus presented either in the stylish tented dining area or out in the bush under a tree hung with lanterns.
