Little Vumbura
Set in the Okavango Vumbura area of the Okavango Delta, the fly-in camp of Little Vumbura is known for its year-round game viewing. The emphasis is on personalised experiences in this pristine wilderness area.
The camp atmosphere is relaxed with the public areas comprising several decks, a swimming pool, campfire and gift shop. Just six en-suite and elevated tents are set on the island surrounded by seasonal floodplains. Fabulous meals are enjoyed around a long table in the dining room or around the campfire in the boma.
Choose from a variety of ways to spot game at Little Vumbura – twice-daily game drives, bush walks, cruises or speedboat rides down the Zambezi River, and canoeing expeditions. An optional extra is a balloon safari. This is the place to spot elephant, hippo, lion, leopard, cheetahs, sable antelope and a myriad bird species. All excursions are led by knowledgeable local guides. Anglers will delight in the chance to fly-fish for bream on a catch and release basis.
