Impodimo Game Lodge
As the only lodge with Shangaan trackers in Madikwe Game Reserve, Impodimo Game Lodge is perfect for experiencing the Big Five. Hidden on a rocky ridge, the luxurious lodge is a serene starting point for your holiday in South Africa. The 75,000-hectare reserve is home to lions, wild dogs, antelope, rhino, buffalo and elephants. There’s also the shy leopard and cheetah but it’s more difficult to spot them.
Guests can go on early morning and late afternoon game drives; there are also walking safaris available at request. Once the day is done, sit by the fireplace with a glass of wine in the open-air boma, chatting about your safari adventures with your guide. Your taste buds will be spoilt with the finest Pan-African cuisine.
Impodimo Game Lodge also has an Elephant Hide that’s right by the waterhole. It’s the perfect spot to spend your afternoon taking photographs. But if you’d prefer an afternoon of pampering, massage treatments are also on offer in a private tent. The lodge has its own childcare facilities and welcomes children of all ages.
