Royal Madikwe
Situated on the western side of Madikwe Game Reserve, The Royal Madikwe is a five-star lodge where game viewing takes centre stage. Accommodating only 12 guests at a time, it promises to be a personal and luxurious safari experience.
Walking into the lodge, you can already see the outside beckoning you onto the spacious verandah. From there, you can see the waterhole where animals come to drink. The boma below, is perfect for dreamy evening meals by the fire underneath star-studded skies while being close to Africa’s wild animals.
The Royal Madikwe has four different suite types; each air-conditioned suite has a private deck, private pool, fireplace, ensuite bathroom and inside-outside shower.
Guides at Madikwe Game Reserve go through rigorous and exacting training and game- drives (and walks) are guaranteed to be exceptional. The reserve is home to lions, wild dog, shy leopards, elephants, antelope, hippo and buffalo – as well as other animals. Birders are also welcome at Madikwe as there is great biodiversity of bird species.
