Campi ya Kanzi
Campi ya Kanzi is an award-winning boutique eco-lodge in the Chyulu Hills of southern Kenya, in Ernest Hemingway’s “Green Hills of Africa”. For more than 20 years, the camp was the only Kenya luxury safari lodge on a Maasai-owned reserve spanning 283,000 acres of pristine wilderness. The Hills volcanic summits are covered in a rich green cloud forest, home to a completely different array of trees, flowers, insects, birds, and mammals. This special Maasai land supports amazing wildlife, with immense biodiversity, including zebra, giraffe, antelopes, and apex predators like lions and leopards for game viewing. The camp itself offers a classic safari experience under canvas.
There are six luxury tented cottages and two luxury tented suites, all raised on wooden platforms with thatched roofs, keeping in line with the lodge’s eco-feel. All rooms are ensuite with a private veranda, sitting area, custom Italian linens and organic bath products. There is also an exclusive villa called Kanzi House for larger groups and families who would like to stay under one roof and dine privately. Activities include wildlife drives, guided walks and cultural visits.
