Surrounded by glistening waterways, this delightful camp is perfect for soaking up the beauty and serenity of the Okavango Delta.
Glide along the waterways in a traditional mokoro, keeping an eye out for delicately patterned reed frogs and jewel-coloured kingfishers. You may see red lechwe antelope or elephant wading into the water, but for the best wildlife sightings enjoy afternoon game drives on the islands – your tracker seeking out the region’s lion, leopard and African wild dog.
Back at andBeyond Xaranna Camp, the open-sided lounge has oversized sofas and scatter cushions in whimsical pinks and greens reflecting the colours of the delta’s water lilies. In the heat of the day, return to your luxury tent for a dip in your private plunge pool or afternoon siesta on your shaded daybed. In the evenings guests gather in the dining area which leads out onto an open-air boma where, on clear evenings, dinners are served under the stars.
