andBeyond Mnemba Island lodge has 10 bandas (beach huts) tucked into the casuarina pine forest, on the edge of a beautiful beach. The bandas are private and very romantic. Each has a high palm-frond roof and large windows so that you don’t miss a minute of the spectacular ocean views. Décor is soft and natural with traditional carved wooden pieces. Have breakfast for two on your private verandah, before wandering down to your beach sala and sunbeds.
A stroll around the island, takes you past flocks of birds and crabs scuttling across the sand. Go snorkeling, SUPping, swimming sea kayaking – there are so many ways to explore the warm turquoise waters. As for the scuba diving, Mnemba atoll is world renowned as a top dive site.
