Vernon can be summed up in one word: passionate. He throws himself into everything he loves – travel, food (especially cooking it!), photography, wildlife, the great outdoors, and even a bit of sport (though he won’t be winning Olympic gold anytime soon). When he’s not crafting dream itineraries, he can be found running, hiking, swimming, or engaging in anything that reconnects him with nature.
What has been your favorite safari experience?
Botswana never fails to amaze me. There’s something truly magical about the Okavango Delta – it’s raw, untamed, and one of the most exhilarating safari experiences out there.
What is one place in Africa that's forever in your heart?
Victoria Falls, no question. Not only is it one of the most awe-inspiring places on Earth, but it’s also where I proposed to my wife – so it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Top tip for clients / go to travel hack?
Don’t base your trip on second-hand advice! Just because a friend or family member has been to Africa doesn’t mean their experience is the right one for you.
