Tell us a bit about yourself

Born in the stunning city of Cape Town, Sherilyn grew up embracing the outdoor lifestyle – hiking, horse riding, surfing, and uncovering secret local gems. Her love for travel started young, thanks to incredible family getaways that sparked her passion for adventure. She went on to study hospitality and tourism for four years and has explored 14 African countries. With a deep love for nature, wildlife, and unique experiences, she’s always on the hunt for the perfect mix of luxury, breathtaking locations, and unforgettable moments.

What has been your favorite safari experience?

It’s nearly impossible to pick just one! But a moment that will stay with me forever was a rare visit to a hidden wild dog den. Spending time with the pack and watching their tiny five-week-old pups play and explore – it was pure, tear-inducing joy.

What is one place in Africa that's forever in your heart?

The Serengeti, without a doubt. Endless golden plains, incredible wildlife diversity, the Great Migration, and the warmest East African guides. No matter where you’re from, the Serengeti has a way of making you feel at home.
