Tell us a bit about yourself

Sherika’s love and passion for travel began 16 years ago when she decided to pursue a career in travel and tourism. She spent most of her career as a travel consultant, events coordinator, educator, and front desk agent/night auditor in hotels abroad.

Sherika has been fortunate enough to explore a few countries, including the USA, India, Thailand, Russia, Mauritius, and Turkey. She loves planning the perfect trip and believes in the power of travel to bring people together and create lasting memories.

When she’s not working, Sherika enjoys cooking up a storm, spending time outdoors in nature, and planning her next bucket list trip or activity.

What has been your favorite safari experience?

I love the Okavango Delta’s beauty, tranquillity, and wildlife. It is one of my favourite places to go on safari in Africa. You can partake in walking safaris, river safaris, and night game drives. With this vast range of safari activities, it’s hard to get bored, and you are almost guaranteed incredible sightings.

What is one place in Africa that's forever in your heart?

Africa has a special place in my heart, so picking one is tricky; however, one that stands out for me is Victoria Falls! The spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River is breathtaking.
