What has been your favorite safari experience?
Picking one is so difficult! But tracking a pangolin on foot in Kapama Private Game Reserve was unreal. Then there was the time I witnessed a lion in a tense standoff with crocodiles over a kill in Chobe National Park – pure adrenaline! But honestly, my favourite safari memory was introducing my 7-year-old to the bush for the first time. Seeing his excitement and wonder at the wildlife was priceless.
What is one place in Africa that's forever in your heart?
Madagascar. I’ve been lucky enough to visit twice, and every time I’m blown away by the country’s breathtaking landscapes and the sheer diversity of flora and fauna. Plus, the Malagasy people are some of the warmest, most humble people I’ve ever met.
Top tip for clients / go to travel hack?
Immerse yourself in the culture! Book a community visit to learn about local history, values, and traditions. Not only will you gain a deeper, more personal insight into life in Africa, but you’ll also be giving back to the communities you visit. It’s a win-win!
