Desiree has travelled extensively across Southern and East Africa, exploring iconic destinations like Victoria Falls, Mana Pools, Hwange, the Okavango Delta, and the Serengeti. She was also lucky enough to experience the Seychelles, adding a tropical touch to her travel expertise.

Her speciality? Tailor-made FIT itineraries that are personalised down to the finest detail. She loves uncovering new routes.

What has been your favorite safari experience?

Finally witnessing the Great Zebra and Wildebeest Migration in the Serengeti – a dream come true! Seeing the massive herds stretch across the horizon, moving in unison, was an unforgettable sight.

What is one place in Africa that's forever in your heart?

Tough call! But I’d have to say it’s a tie between the Serengeti in Tanzania and the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Both offer such unique and breathtaking wildlife experiences.

Top tip for clients / go to travel hack?

Elephant lovers, take note! The hideout at Little Makololo in Hwange National Park (Zimbabwe) is a must – nothing beats watching elephants up close from a secret vantage point.

Pick the right room! A “room with a view” near a waterhole means non-stop wildlife action right from your lodge.

Ladies, always pack a scarf! It’s a lifesaver – great for sun protection, a cover-up, or even a stylish wrap by the pool.
