There’s nothing quite like the idyllic scenes of Cape Town. From vast mountain ranges, colourful suburbs, hip bars and eateries – it’s a truly remarkable destination. Take advantage of the Mother City with our tailor-made itinerary. You’ll get the perfect view of the Cape’s coastline from the terraces of the Tintswalo Atlantic. This 4-night stay forms the first part of your trip with remarkable sea views, elegant accommodation and 5-star cuisine.

The itinerary’s first tour will take you to Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain. This majestic mountain is an incredible 3564-feet above sea-level and is known for its flat top. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to see cascading clouds cover the mountain to form what South Africans refer to as the “tablecloth”.

Guests will also be taken on a ferry ride to the historical site of Robben Island to visit the prison that once held Nelson Mandela. See what Cape Town’s coast has to offer and kayak in penguin territory at Boulders Beach before discovering South Africa’s world-renowned flora at the Cape Point National Park. Go ziplining over the mountains for the best views of the city before heading to a picnic at the wine farm Eagle’s Nest followed by a wine tasting on Constantia’s Wine Route. The day concludes with some mountain biking through Constantia Uitsig.

From coast to countryside, you will then spend two nights at La Residence. Designed by South Africa’s top hotelier Liz Biden (of The Royal Portfolio), La Residence is an opulent gem tucked away in the Cape Winelands surrounded by the lush groves and vineyards of the Franschhoek Valley. A winelands cycle will give you a unique view of the farm roads and vineyards of this historic town. The tour is topped off with a wine tasting and a charming little picnic.

Before you get too cosy in the winelands, you’ll be whisked away to the Singita Boulders Lodge. Elegant glass-fronted suites overlook vast plains of the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve directly from your private deck. The suites also feature a fireplace and a private heated pool. The game reserve is a popular safari destination with frequent sightings of the Big 5 as well as other wildlife such as giraffes, zebra and wild dogs. Sabi Sands also offers the rare night-drive to spot nocturnal fauna. Once you’ve explored the bushveld, you’ll spend a romantic evening at an open-air dinner for a magical night under the stars.
