We would like to introduce you to 180 Lounger – a new rooftop bar and lounge that has opened in Cape Town’s city centre. Located in the bustling Bree Street, the lounge is on the 16th storey of The Terrace with views of Table Mountain and surrounds.

The venue offers three experiences:

  • an alternative to the airport transit lounge for both business as well as leisure travellers or, alternatively, a lounge for those working in the Cape Town to break away from their normal office environments for a change of scenery
  • a venue-for-hire for corporate or private functions, or
  • an opportunity to simply enjoy a beverage while you take in the views from this iconic building.

180 Rooftop Connect for travellers and local business people

This experience is both for travellers who are in Cape Town for the day or who have checked out of their hotels and have a few hours before they are due to leave Cape Town, as well as for local business people looking for an alternative venue away from their normal office environment.

180 Lounger enables guests to maximise their time in the Central City in our private lounge area and enjoy our rooftop terrace with outdoor day beds and a bar area as well as panoramic views of Cape Town, an extensive indoor lounge with a variety of seating options, uncapped Wi-Fi, shower and luggage storage facilities, and a selection of snacks and beverages. A small meeting room, as well as shuttle transfers, are available on request.

The costs are R590 per adult and R245 per child for 2-hour access. Facilities are operational from 08h00 until 18h00, but guests can arrange to stay until 23h00. Advance booking is essential.

From the extensive outdoor terrace area to the expansive interior, 180 Lounger is also the perfect venue in which to hold a corporate event or private function.

180 Rooftop Chill

If you would simply like to relax for an hour or two, enjoy a drink and take in the panoramic sunset view, you can also book online to visit the venue every Thursday evening from 17h00 until 20h00. A range of house beverages is on offer, and the cost is R90 access fee per person.
