Okavango Explorers Camp

Where? The southwest area of Botswana’s private Selinda Reserve.

Accommodation: Expect a peaceful, intimate experience perfect for couples and honeymooners. Inspired by sophisticated safari-goers of the 1920s, Okavango Explorers Camp offers six elegant tents which accommodate a total of 12 guests. Each tent is equipped with an indoor shower, a fan, mosquito nets and yoga mats… time to get your stretch on!

North Island Okavango

Where? This camp is located on a remote private island on the northern fringes of the Okavango Delta.

Accommodation: North Island Okavango is opening in June 2023 and you’ll be pleased to hear it’s planned to be 100% solar powered for optimal sustainability. With just three guest tents, it’s one of the most exclusive camps in Botswana. Each tent is perched on a raised wooden platform and has been designed around a congregation of large wild ebony trees for maximum privacy. You’ll enjoy gorgeous views of the lagoon and a private plunge pool with a sunken sundeck. The tents also come with an ‘over-the-bed’ cooling system and an ensuite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower and a bathtub.

The most memorable experience: Mokoro and boat safaris along narrow, reed-lined channels.

Qorokwe Camp

Where? A private wilderness area on the border of the Moremi Game Reserve.

Accommodation: There are eight contemporary-styled rooms and tented suites at Qorokwe Camp. There’s also a spacious family unit with a splash pool. All of the suites connect to an open dining and lounge area and bar on a raised deck.

The most memorable experience: Game drives in Moremi, a reserve known for its predators.

Abu Camp

Where? The Okavango Delta’s private 180,000 square meter Abu Concession.

Accommodation: Six lavish tented suites, each with a private plunge pool on an elevated deck, provide a mesmerising view of the Delta and its wildlife. Each tent features an array of stylish furnishings, double vanity bathrooms with inside and outside showers, and a separate seating area in which to relax and unwind after a rewarding day spent on safari.

The most memorable experience: Extraordinary encounters with the region’s resident elephants, including guided walking safaris.

andBeyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp

Where? In the southern and seasonal portion of the Okavango Delta.

Accommodation: This camp offers nine upmarket and private ensuite safari tents, all with beautiful views of the Delta, air conditioning, a large indoor bathtub, an outdoor shower, shaded daybeds and a private plunge pool. There’s also Internet access in the tents should you wish to connect with friends and relatives back at home to show them your best safari snaps, but we hope you don’t.

The most memorable experience: World-class birding experiences, with over 450 species recorded in the area.

Chitabe Camp

Where? On private conservation land, bordered on the north by the Moremi Game Reserve.

Accommodation: There are eight lavish safari tents from which to choose, all boasting classic African décor. The safari-styled tents are on raised wooden decks, full of comfortable furnishings, and all of them have both indoor and outdoor showers. For maximum comfort, the tents are also equipped with mosquito nets, standing fans and double sliding doors that open onto the deck.

The most memorable experience: Walking safaris alongside a professional guide.

Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp

Where? You’ll find Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp on a 260,000-acre private concession in the Okavango Delta.

Accommodation: The camp offers 10 canvas safari tents, each cradled by a mass of ebony and sausage trees. Every single one of the tents has its own unique style and charm, and they all have a large wooden deck with a view.

The most notable experience: Evening drives for unforgettable encounters with the region’s night-roaming creatures.

Linyanti Ebony

Where? Sandwiched between the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park along the Linyanti Channel in the Linyanti Concessions.

Accommodation: Linyanti Ebony is ultra-exclusive, with just three Serengeti tents and one larger Family Tent with a bathtub, a plunge pool and full bar facilities. Each one of the tents comes with an ensuite bathroom, a private deck, a fan and mosquito nets.

The most notable experience: An exclusive safari experience in the Linyanti Concessions.
