Tours in Livingstone (Victoria Falls)

Spectacular Victoria Falls is the widest sheet of falling water in the world! When the Zambezi River is in full flood, watching it crash 100 metres into a steep gorge is best described by the Falls local name of Mosi-oa-Tunya or ‘The Smoke That Thunders’. Especially on the Zambian side where, when crossing of the Knife-Edge Bridge, you really feel the power of the waterfall with spray coming at you from all directions! Victoria Falls lies on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. Livingstone, the nearest town on the Zambian side, offers a wide range of adventure activities from microlight flights to bungee-jumping and white-water rafting. Zambia’s wildlife is also a huge drawcard: cruise the Zambezi River past pods of hippo or go on a walking safari to see the white rhino in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.
