Solio Lodge is located inside Solio Reserve, part of a private ranch and home to a diverse population of wildlife. Internationally recognised as the most successful private rhino breeding reserve in Kenya, Solio is home to hundreds of rhino, both black and white, which live harmoniously alongside numerous other species. Guests can enjoy an array of exciting activities cater to all energy levels. Enjoying the magnificent wild outlook with views of Mount Kenya is definitely an option, but so is walking, mountain biking, trout fishing, horse riding and a 4×4 safari in the rhino sanctuary. The lodge has just five cosy and luxurious cottages, each one with a spacious ensuite and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, making the most of the panoramic views. The cuisine is vibrant, nutritious and bursting with fresh flavours, with many of the ingredients grown in their own organic kitchen garden. Guests can enjoy bush picnics, lazy lunches on the deck overlooking the sanctuary or private dining on their cottage veranda.
