Safarihoek Lodge

The upmarket Safarihoek Lodge is set amid an expansive 60 000-hectare private reserve close to Etosha National Park. Built on a hill overlooking the plains, the 11 thatched chalets are stylishly decorated and boast private decks looking out onto a busy waterhole. The chalets are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms – eight of them also have outdoor showers.

Guests can relax in the privacy of their rooms or head to the main lodge with its spacious lounge, dining area, wine cellar and bar to relax with a drink in hand while enjoying the view. A curio shop provides for gifts and mementoes. Meals are simply a treat at this destination served indoors or outdoors on the expansive deck. The swimming pool with its expansive views of the plains is a favoured destination in the heat of the day.  Guests here enjoy exclusive access to the reserve and its abundance of wildlife.

Activities include day and night game drives, access to a fabulous double-tiered photography hide and the possibility of tracking both black and white rhino in the bush – an unforgettable experience. This is a place of stunning solitude and natural beauty.
