Tours in Garden Route

South Africa’s Garden Route is holiday perfect: long sandy beaches, magnificent forests, lagoons, rivers and a million things to do. Although the official start of the Garden Route is Mossel Bay, you know you’ve arrived somewhere really  special when you round the coastal pass down to the small seaside town of Wilderness. Here your views stretch out over the warm Indian Ocean and a broad sweep of beach. Nearby Knysna is a favourite amongst families, honeymooners and nature enthusiasts. At the centre of the town is a peaceful lagoon, and in the surrounding forest red-winged Knysna loeries flit amongst the tree  branches. If you prefer the sand between their toes, pick nearby Plettenberg Bay. Plett (as its known to the locals)  offers endless stretches of sand – and a great selection of accommodation too. Getting to the Garden Route is easy: drive from Cape Town straight along the N2 national highway, or inland along the incredibly scenic Route 62.
