Zambezi Expeditions

Zambezi Expeditions promises a fantastic game-viewing experience combined with an authentic safari stay. This semi-mobile camp is located in Mana Pools National Park on the banks of the Zambezi River, which attracts a vast diversity of game to its waters. The area is renowned for lion, leopard, hippos, elephant and wild dog. The six traditional and very comfortable Meru-style tents are set along the riverbank. Each has a private flush toilet and hot bucket shower, as well as basic amenities.

The days are full with activities whether that is exploring the landscape on foot, getting out onto the river in a canoe or on a fishing excursion, or heading into the wilderness on morning and afternoon game drives in search of Africa’s most feared and famous animals. Game drives head along the floodplains into the stunning Mana Pools UNESCO World Heritage Site. The delicious meals are enjoyed in the mess tent or under the shade of a tree – regardless of location, the focus is on serving hearty and flavourful cuisine. This destination will appeal to the wild at heart, regardless of age, and all lovers of nature.
