Singita Castleton

Singita Castleton is an exclusive-use lodge with 6 cottages and a charming farmstead leading out onto wide green lawns. Once the family homestead of Singita founder Luke Bailes’ grandfather, this private getaway finds that perfect balance between 5-star luxury and a comfortable, at-home feel.

The guest cottages are located a short distance from the main house, in park-like grounds that include an outdoor tennis court, shaded picnic areas, a well-equipped gym, trampoline and large swimming pool. Yet staying here puts you at the heart of the Sabi Sands; and just beyond the fenced grounds is a waterhole where elephant, hippo and antelope are often seen.

Singita is famous for phenomenal service, and the team at Castleton is no exception! The expert guide and tracker teams do an amazing job of seeking out lion, leopard, elephant and other extraordinary wildlife sightings. While back at the lodge, your chef will create heavenly meals from freshly baked pastries to fine dining and boma dinners under the stars.

The private wine cellar, too, is well worth a mention and includes a collection of small batch vineyard and sought-after private reserves.
