Mboko Camp

Located along the banks of a free-flowing Lekolo River, in a rich savannah where elephants, hyaenas and buffalo, freely roam, Mboko Camp is an authentic hideout within Odzala-Kokoua National Park in Congo-Brazzaville, the eco-camp is the perfect spot to experience a host of forest biodiversity, rare wildlife and significant populations of forest elephant.

The camp has 12 suites, including two family suites, each set within along the Lekoli River amidst the lush green forest-line of the savannah creating privacy. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom with hot water, a fan, and a private deck with a breathtaking view of the forest or the river. For sundowners, head down to the star deck, where you can enjoy a drink around the fire pit before a mouthwatering dinner overlooking wide-open grasslands.

There are many exciting activities available at the camp. It’s the perfect place to explore the Lekoli and Mambili Rivers by boat. Expert guides also lead game drives and walking safaris through the bai and savanna. The most popular activity at the camp is the gorilla tracking experience. Skilled trackers and expert guides lead these tours through the Marantaceae forest on foot; if you’re lucky, you may spot a leopard or a giant forest hog. Mboko, like its sister camps Lango Camp and Ngaga Camp, is perfect for the adventurous heart.
