Khwai Bush Camp

Khwai Bush Camp is located on the edge of Botswana’s Okavango Delta alongside the renowned Moremi Game Reserve. This small camp with four standard and two family chalets is set amid Leadwood and Sycamore trees on the banks of the Khwai River. It is the perfect choice for small groups and families. The comfortable chalets are all en-suite with verandas looking onto the game reserve.

The romance of traditional safari camps is combined with the modern amenities needed for a memorable stay, including a sparkling swimming pool. This area is known for its year-round sightings of Africa’s iconic wildlife species, especially of predators, and guests can expect to see lion, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, hippo and giraffe. Passionate guides lead game drives and walking safaris. This is also a great destination for birdwatchers and the river can be explored by traditional mokoro gliding along “hippo highways and elephant byways”.

Those wanting a cultural immersion can sign up for a cultural tour to the nearby Khwai village to meet the local community. The emphasis is on authenticity at Khwai Bush Camp, right down to the hearty, homespun meals enjoyed around the campfire each night.
