Amanzi Camp

Located in the remote east of the Lower Zambezi National Park, Amanzi Camp is a charming camp  tucked away in the waterways of the Zambezi River on the beautiful and secluded Ngwenya channel. The name “Amanzi”, meaning “water” in the local Tonga language, is the little sister to Anabezi Camp, the larger camp upriver.

Effortlessly designed to make the most of the serene environment and decorated in soothing natural hues, it doesn’t get much more relaxing than the neutral and subtle wooden décor and tones in the main area. The position on the river ensures game viewing can continue throughout the day from every corner.

The camp consists of 4 tents, each on a raised teak deck including an indoor shower and a private sitting area. Two rooms are arranged to function as a connected family tent, making it perfect for small groups and families wanting to share this exclusive and authentic safari adventure. With a variety of activities, including night game drives, bush walks, birding, canoeing, boat cruises and fishing, led by a team of exemplary guides and staff, Amanzi has it all.
